Named for the ease at which it changes speed and jumps waves.

Original prototype testing done by both Ryland Hart and Danny Ching consistently hit max speeds of 10-11mph, and increased average speeds of 0.5-1mph in half mile test.

The Jump got its name from its ability to accelerate up and over (or into) small wind waves and boat wakes without effort and without losing stability. It is great for medium to long distance paddles. It runs best in most every condition, ranging from the calm, flat waters in lakes, harbors and rivers, to the light and moderate windy conditions we find in the oceans.

THE HULL

Our goal was to increase both top end speed and efficiency . But, doing both is notoriously difficult– as there is often a clear tradeoff between Speed and efficiency. We started by imaging two skis as a stable platform to stand on. We then kept a straight flat center line for maximum waterline, and added the rocker throughout the rails to accommodate for waves and moderate ocean conditions. Last we dropped the deck for added stability and a center concave under the standing area resulting in a truly unique riding experience. More Top End Speed, Better Average Speeds, and More Stability all with less effort. Experience the difference the 404 Jump Race board has to offer.

14'x 22" 258 LTR is our narrowest Stock production. It is used by professional, elite paddlers like Danny Ching and April Zilg. This board is ideal for lightweight paddlers and/or advanced skilled paddlers.
